Tyson's song aptly describes the steps the vaqueros used in training their horses. And in the film, Buckaroo Richard Caldwell shows how to "put a handle on your pony." The Wonder of it All

Based in San Diego, this group perform the music of early California, when it was part of Spain and Mexico. This melodic music was played for the festive fandangos on the ranchos during their heyday in the 1830s and 1840s.
